nantymoel at preston 2015

On the 8th and the 9th of May, Our young people of the mem travelled up to preston to play in the national pool tournament of 2015. We happily came home with 8 people who had either won national champ or runner up. They were 
William Conway- National Champ! Under 12 boys.     Karys Rayner- National Champ! Under 12 girls.

Dafydd Jones- National Champ! Under 14 boys.         Hannah John - National Champ! Under 14 girls.

Alice Smith- Runner Up! Under 14 girls.                        Morgan Butler- National Champ! Under 16 boys.

Meghan Rayner- National Champ! under 16 girls.           Jordan Jones- Runner Up! Under 19 boys.

Also well done Jay Williams , Sam Blower Jack Thomas Iestyn Seal for making it the 3rd play playoffs!

Staff wise big thanks to Byron , Billy Shup and Genna. :)

Lynn the leap visits mem- october 15th!

As you all know, Lynn The Leap Competed in the Tokyo olympic games in 1964 in the long jump and came first! Lynn Was born in nantymoel on May 20th 1942. Lynn will be visiting the mem and speaking with the young people and will be shown a heritage project. Everyone is welcome on the day between 5pm-7pm!


Rest in Peace Piggy!

Nantymoel Boys and Girls Club wish to offer the family the clubs deepest condolences at this time. Byron Edwards A.K.A Piggy was laid to rest 25th April 2014 at Nantymoel Cemetery. The Club would like to thank all the hard work Byron put into the club and was a member of our committee and without Byron the clubs young members would not of been able to take part in national pool events.

Nantymoel Host Welsh BGC Pool Event 

Nantymoel Once again continue to have success in Welsh Pool Events with 13 Players Qualifying for the National Championships. More news of National Venue to follow . Nantymoel would like to thank all players who attended and BGC Wales for for their support on the day.

Enyd Lock Plaque Unveiling 

March 27th 2014 , Nantymoel Boys and Girls Club were privileged to celebrate the life and work of Enyd Lock B.E.M who spent over half a century volunteering in the club and providing a long lasting effect on young peoples lives.

1st  Steps towards history room.

We as a club have started a project to create our very over history room by joining partnership with the heritage lottery and creating a lasting legacy to live on in the club. We are currently working with framework and heritage lottery in order to create a history room to show the legacy we have made over the years.

Emergency Contact Forms

We have recently sent out emergency contact forms to all children who visit the club , If parents could kindly complete the forms and return them to the club. Thank you

The club of Nantymoel would like to thank Eloi Brufau and Camille Sei for their Helpful contribution to the club in their short time here.

nantymoel cleaned as volunteers help out with litter picking!

Nantymoel was brightend by a small group of volunteers who gave their time to help clean up the cycle track of nantymoel and collected nearly a skip full of litter! The Small group litter picked in bad weather and by the end of the day, they were soaking wet!
